We recently collaborated with a leading print agency on an exciting new product launch for the ever-popular Walls Ice Cream brand.
Walls, to attract millennial and Generation Z consumers developed a unique product and brand offering to form part of their extensive range called Soft Republick.
The display we designed and produced was used specifically for a meeting and trade show where the business was set to show off the new disruptor brand to a wider audience. London’s Spitalfields market also played host to a pop-up store serving the soft scoop ice-cream creating a standalone experiential offering to attract their target market.
Using our specialist HD board in 16mm, a material that’s unique to NEC Graph-fix, we printed the display design, featuring bold graffiti, pops of bright colour and quirky fonts, directly onto the substrate using our in-house flatbed printers. HD board offers a variety of exclusive benefits, including durability (it has an in-store shelf life of up to 2 years), it’s weight in comparison to MDF, (the material is very lightweight and easy to manoeuvre) and to cap it off it’s also completely recyclable!
Using a Kongsberg digital cutter, the substrate was then cut as required using “V” notching. The Kongsberg range is regarded for its precision, durability and reliability, and is a long-standing piece of kit in our production area, where we continually look to invest in the latest technology to present our clients with services and outputs that are truly unique.
The whole production process took around five days to complete, and the client was really pleased with the finished product, which also went down a storm with consumers!
